The Rose District is a collaborative public/private partnership that has breathed new life into Broken Arrow’s 100-year-old historical downtown core. Community leaders sought to create a downtown district that would provide a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, unique dining experiences, and boutique shopping that would draw residents and visitors alike. The resulting vision is now the Rose District, a thriving arts and entertainment district that is home to retail, restaurants, entertainment, and more.

The Rose District came to fruition through a $5MM streetscape renovation that brought wider sidewalks, mid-block crossings, planters adorned with roses, and outdoor dining areas that create a pedestrian and business-friendly atmosphere. The Rose District is also home to several museums and art galleries, a 1500-seat modern performing arts center, a pavilion that hosts our summer farmers market, workout classes, movie nights, and much more.

The Rose District has recently undergone a four million-dollar makeover providing a pedestrian-friendly space to better accommodate events with fewer traffic lanes, wider sidewalks, mid-block crossing and comprehensive landscaping. Come visit an award winning Main Street and enjoy great shopping, excellent dining, and entertainment all in a setting in which over one hundred strands of roses call home.
